No, I never got a reply to my question. I am learning about the FIM and its use. I also had to write a paper on some outcome measures, the FIM being one of them. Do you have any insights into my original question?

I'm not positive but a colleague of mine said to refer you to Uniform Data System, the director there Dr. Carl Granger helped develop the FIM. Contact info I found is www.udsmr.org and 716-817-7800, let me know what happens.
