We are facing an administrative mishap with the way the paper-pencil version of the SWLS was given to some of the family members/significant others of those w/ brain injury. Instead of the family member/SO doing a "self-rating", they rated the SWLS questions with respect to the brain-injured client's satisfaction with life.

My question is: Is there any way to salvage this data? Could it be compared to the ratings given by the brain-injured client for an additional index of self-awareness?
