jwright Administrator	posted 03-07-2000 01:00 PM             It depends on what you mean by a Significant Other-CIQ. The TBI Model System Database uses reponses from individuals with TBI and/or significant others in assessing the CI status of the individual with brain injury (depending on the year of follow-up). In the Model System Database the CIQ is not used to measure the CI status of a caregiver or a S.O., although it probably could be used that way. The CIQ was normed on a sampling of individuals (presumably non-TBI) from a state/county fair. Jerry Wright IP: Logged
