Would someone please tell me of any studies that used the DRS in samples that included patients with non-traumatic brain disorders such as stroke and anoxia?

thanks

The DRS has been primarily used in a TBI population. However, there appear to be a few studies that may be useful:

1: Huang ME, Wartella JE, Kreutzer JS.
Functional outcomes and quality of life in patients with brain tumors: a preliminary report. Arch Phys Med Rehabil. 2001 Nov;82(11):1540-6.

2: Gray DS, Burnham RS. Preliminary outcome analysis of a long-term rehabilitation program for severe acquired brain injury.
Arch Phys Med Rehabil. 2000 Nov;81(11):1447-56.

3: Williams GR, Jiang JG. Development of an ischemic stroke survival score. Stroke. 2000 Oct;31(10):2414-20.
