The
Center for Outcome Measurement in Brain Injury (COMBI) is a collaborative
project of the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation
Research (NIDRR)
funded Traumatic Brain Injury Model
Systems. The COMBI is a project of the current funding cycle
for NIDRR TBI Model Systems (2002-2007). The COMBI is coordinated
at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
Since
1998 we have been adding new measures and scales.
Starting in 1999, a biannual newsletter
of facts and figures about the measures has been produced. In 2000
a bulletin board/ forum system was added.
For
each supported measure there is syllabus and training information,
rating forms, background information on validity and reliability,
a reference list of published studies, and testing materials. A
FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) section is also included, compiled
from past training information and questions emailed to us.
We
hope you find the COMBI a valuable resource. Please feel free to
email us with suggestions or contributions. Contact Jerry Wright
